Things to Consider During Your Christmas Activities

It’s holiday season and people are celebrating their Christmas with friends and family. Have you plan out your Christmas activities?

Let’s not forgot about our lovely planet while you are celebrating with your Christmas activities. How about come activities that helps to save our mother earth?

Nice lighting decorations are along the streets…but it consume a lot of electricity during this holiday season as well. These all will add up to our global warming woes. May be it’s time that we should consider for some energy saving activities during this Christmas.

Some of the thing to be considered during this celebration season during your Christmas activities.

  • Use recycled materials as your decorations. I’m sure that there are quite a number of competition out there for the BEST Christmas Tree decoration. Consider to use recycled materials. It may give your more idea on your decoration themes and saves the environment at the same time.
  • Remember to switch off the light of the LED on your Christmas tree when it’s not in use…day time, or before you go to bed.
  • Use energy saving LED lights for your Christmas tree or house decorations. It’s energy saving and more environmental friendly.
  • Use paper bags for your shopping. Avoid using plastic bags if you can.
  • Do not waste food. Plan for the amount of the food during your Christmas party. Appreciate what we have and stop wasting food for over cooking.

Just some examples above and the most important message is to think of our environment during your enjoyable Christmas activities. Everyone a bit…it helps a lot. Wish you all an eco-friendly Christmas.

While we enjoy our food everyday, do you ever think of those in hunger somewhere else in the world?

As what stated in Poverty.com, there are about 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related cases, according to the United Nations; and children are those who die most often.

Can we do something to help them?
Definitely YES!

But how can we help them and improve our vocabulary at the same time?
It’s very simple. FreeRice contain thousands of worlds at varying degrees of difficulty.
