It really depends on luck

When purchase a laptop, normally will you extend the warranty period or top up with the laptop insurance? I think it really depends on your luck.

I’ve some friends who bought their laptop for years without extended warranty and it just works fine for them, from HDD, monitor display, motherboard…everything works fine for them thus far.

For me, I would definitely need the extended warranty, as i have the experience where the motherboard broken down 1 day after the original first year warranty. So it really depends on your luck.
