IT gadgets really depreciate a lot…take a notebook for example, within 3 years, in many company finance, it will treat it with a net book value of zero…means depreciate of 100% over 3 years.
Technology will keep on improving, if you really want to own a highest or latest technology laptop or desktops, you will really to be rich, else you really cannot afford that…unless, you rent it from computer rentals.
For normal office worker like me, i will not go for the latest technology laptop if i’m going to buy one, i will just buy based on my usage requirement and within my budget…
