While many people like Gaman and Ah Pek are talking about how the recent Google PR update affects their blog traffic and income…my blogs remain PR-less…
I noticed that the recent PR update just involved these blogs which already have their previous PR at the first place. I checked several new sites like LinkyLove and even big make money online blog like Kumiko’s cash quest also remain PR-less…
When will my site being eventually rated with PR? I have been waiting for it since April, i cannot make money with paid posts if this sites remains PR-less, sometime i even do not have momentum to keep me on…but honestly i doest not follow all the gurus advices to consistently post and focus on my blog contents at the first place, i cannot expect much from this round PR…

i am also waiting for pr on my site and i thought the best way to build up your site was to post quality posts. However i recently found out about the supplemental index and it seems most posts just go to the SI, so writing posts and doing seo seems to be a fruitless activity.
You need to think long term here!
Ok, so what, we don’t have a PR5 yet, which is good, as we would have been slammed to 3 or worse, even lower. Then your proud stream of income would have vanished and you would feel quite sad.
We are not punished in Google positions (SERP) and that’s what counts. With PR 0 or 10: I still have my decent stream of visitors.
Now about being fair: advertisers are paying big bucks for an ad on a page with high PR. But PR is no measure for amount of visitors, so they could be paying big bucks for really much less visitors than a good page with little PR. So the advertisers are really scammed and we nicely have been enjoying their lack of wisdom. Ouch, that must hurt. So now our PR goes down? Fair enough!
Another thing: does it matter if you are sir Horeki or Datu’Horeki? That doesn’t add anything to your personal value. Neither does PR. Only the smart salespeople of the paid to blog services have lured the advertisers with the idea that high PR means good ROI.
In the short run we loose some steady income, but in the long run, Google is doing us a big favor!
My last secret for the day: I got rid of my Google bar that would show me the PR of other pages rite from the beginning of Linky Love. Sometimes you need to see ahead
PR is a Google inhouse thing, and that’s where it should stay…
