Have you ever think of how we could fight inflation?
Some people might said that you need to find more ways to make money for some passive income, invest in properties, mutual funds and etc. (As we are told not to put all your eggs in one basket, right?)
I’m totally agreed with this saying but i would suggest that we need to use our hardly earned money wisely, make sure thing we buy are for its actual values and understand our rights as an consumers.
Bad dept with Credit Card will “kill” you financially and make you become poorer and poorer, but if you use some credit cards promotions wisely, it really helps to save money.
This is a long holiday weekend in Malaysia as we are celebrating our 50th independence day (Sales Carnival on going as well…). I just realize that UOB is having a great promotion to help me to save money. It gives you 50% cash rebate during this Merdeka when you spends in their selected merchants during 31th Aug to 2nd Sept.
I took this opportunities to watch Rush Hours 3 with my family. It gives me 50% cash rebate. Then i dine in Sushi King for our lunch and it gives us 50% cash rebate as well. Means that i only spent half the money for a whole day of fun time with my family of 3 persons, and i can use the cash rebate i earned any time during my next purchase. Sounds attractive isn’t?
Just we need to bare in mind that do not over spend and remember to clear our out standing balance on time. We shall take advantages from this kinds of credit card promotions to be an smart consumer. Spend smart and let our money to work for us…
