How to extend battery life for both of your mobile phone and laptop

Disable or turn off all unessential functions.
Switch off the function when you are not using it.
For Mobile Phone
Turn off your Bluetooth when no in use. Do not let your Bluetooth enabled all the time. It consumes power even it’s not communicating with other devices as it will always in standby mode to detect or pair with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
For Laptop
Turn off both your wireless and Bluetooth devices when it’s not in use. It drain your battery’s resources. This can be done by just right click on your WLAN icon in your taskbar and disable it.
Do not expose your battery in extreme temperatures
For both Laptop and Mobile Phone
Do not ever keep your mobile phone or spare battery in your car. Extreme heat can drain your battery quickly. This will also make you stay away from thefts who are targeting laptop which keep inside your car.
Do not over charge your battery
Avoid partial charges and use the battery until it is dead. This will extend the battery’s life time.
For both Laptop and Mobile Phone, we shall stop charging our battery once it’s full (by the indication shown on mobile phone and also battery icon in task bar for laptop users). Do not let it to over charge for over night. It will shortens our battery’s life.
For laptop, consider take off your battery after fully charge and let your laptop runs with power adapter.
Dimming your screen it you want to save power consumption.
For mobile phone users, dim your screen from your phone setting.
For laptop users, dim your screen by pressing the manufacturer’s function keys on your keyboard.
