Every one get connected to the internet these days, have you imagine what can yo do if your are provided a computer or laptop with no internet access?

I cannot check my mail box for any funny emails to light me up if i’m not connected to the internet, i cannot read about news and other resources that provided by other blogger.

I does not have a wireless router in my house, this is the main reason why i need to sit in front of my desk most of the time to do my stuff including blogging.

One of the things i will do with my laptop was to download what ever resources that available to read it offline and write some post in OpenOffice and upload it when i got connected to the internet.

Now things have been changed with GoogleReader . With Google Gear installed in your computer or laptop, you are able to read blogs though RSS offline. It allows up to 2000 item to be stored offline. I just tried this feature as when I’m writing this post offline. I really like this features. Now i can upload my post when i online and still I’m able to read others post when i was offline in my bed.

Ok, for those who haven’t try this, i would strongly recommend it. Here are some of the basic steps…

Go to Google Reader and click on the “Offline” link, it will then prompt you to download Google Gear with will allow you to download offline contents.

You may add you subscription by clicking the “Add Subscriber”  button subscribeand enter the URL of the blog which you interested on.

After you install the Google Gear, you will notice an icon, click on this icon to go Offline, it will then download the contents offline. If you click on it for the second time, it will then synchronise with the online contents and it’s now up-to-date.

The only problem i faced is it will not display photo in side the post, but I’m more focus on its contents rather then photo when i go offline…Do you faced the some problem?
