I got my blog was setup successfully, what’s next?
I have gone through e book from John Chow on Make Money Online together with advice from Court with his post on starting a blog in 5263 words and i will make a practice via this blog and let’s see how things goes.
I installed several plugin on this blog

Akismet – To get ride of spams by checking comments again the Akismet web service. Since this is highly recommended by most blogger site. I decided to have it installed.

Brian’s Threaded Comments – This plugin will enable you to have your reply just right below to the comments. It’s good for readiness and follow up. I tried this with IE7 but i’m not sure will it caused any issue in other version of IE as commented by Ah Pek. So, use it at your own risk, remember to backup an original copy of your comments.php.

Dagon Design Sitemap Generator – Now you can see my sitemap at . It’s generated by this plugin. E Book from John Chow recommended Google Sitemap Generator. Not sure will it give the same effect but since i already installed with this installed. Let’s see how things goes.

No WWW – to get rid of double indexed by google. Although this site is not yet indexed by Google, i would rather installed it during m setup in case i missed out later.

Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form – I added a Contact Me pages on this blog. For my reader to contact me is case of any bugs, comments and recommendation.

SEO Title Tag – I installed this based on a post by Court on My 15 current wordpress plugin. I still not familiar with the usage on this plugin but since my site is still new, i still preserved sometimes to test it out how it works.

Sociable – If you clicked on my post, you will noticed a Share and Enjoy column with icon from StumbleUpon, Digg and so on, with this, it will automatically add links on this post to some popular social bookmarking sites, user will able to choose from a wide range of social bookmarking sites with just a simple check after got this plugin installed.

Ultimate Tag Warrior – This will worked together with SEO Title Tag, as i mentioned earlier, i still need to get familiarize with this 2 plugin before i can really benefit from it, but based on Courts, it will help to create a more friendly SEO title tag for each page.
What’s next:

Top Commentators – Recommendation from most blogger site that this will encourage more people to leave a comments. I yet to installed this plugin as this site is still new, even myself feel pai seh to show the top commentator list now. Will see how this site perform, definitely i will activate this plugin latest by next week.

Adsense Deluxe – This site is still new and i will not starts it with Ads yet. As Adsense will only show its effect after a huge traffic to this site. I will rather focus on its contents first to attract more visitors.

Indexed by Google?
In order for this site to index by Google, i have submmited my URL to Add your URL to Google. Added my sitemap in Google Webmaster Tools as well. Only after i added my URL to Google, i read a post by Court on How to get indexed by Google in one week. Will it be too late for me to follow this guidelines? Since i have submitted my site, i will try the method suggested by Court, hope it’s not too late.
Claimed my site from Technorati and Alexa.
I have claimed my site from Technorati and Alexa to increase my site visibility. It’s also necessary steps so that i can have my ranking on Technorati and Alexa.
I’m going to submit my site to list of directories after this…
Am i missed out anything?
